Cleanliness and contamination prevention are of paramount importance for applications where traces of contamination can have a negative impact on performance, quality or product safety. In particular, clean performance materials used in the aerospace industry, semiconductor manufacturing, electronics and medical technology must not form particles, contain volatile components or have traces of incompatible elements. In other areas of the cleanroom environment or in highly sensitive optical systems operated in a vacuum, Materiales’ expertise also combines material technology aspects relating to material performance with the chemical aspects of material cleanliness.

- Stellane VG FP – PFPE-based lubricating grease
Thickened lubricating grease for high-vacuum applications. Thanks to its special formulation, it can be significantly more durable in use than comparable products. It is also characterized by a very low tendency to segregate, which is particularly advantageous when lubricated components need to be stored for long periods.
